In the same time that I've painted the
"Californian Mission Indians", I've also painted this little
"Nikolai" set, sculpted by Erik Trauner. (the hut is from
"IMEX Eastern Friendly Indians" ).
Dans le même temps que j'ai peint "Californian Mission Indians", j'ai aussi peint ce petit set "Nikolai", sculpté par Erik Trauner. (la hutte est de "IMEX Eastern Friendly Indians")
And I've done too some pictures for comparison between IMEX, PEGASUS, NIKOLAI Indians:

IMEX NIKOLAI PEGASUS .... |

IMEX NIKOLAI PEGASUS IMEX NIKOLAI |
|
NIKOLAI IMEX PEGASUS PEGASUS |

PEGASUS IMEX |
(..... and it's a good way to see that I've not painted the skins in the same colour ! )

RépondreSupprimerI just acquired a set of IMEX "Eastern Friendly Indians". I must say that the figures from Nikolai - Woodland Indians - women and children with Camp Accessories are a lot better sculpts than of those that came with the IMEX set. Very nice work, Sam, as usual.
Thanks Jan !
SupprimerIt's always difficult to compare a small excellent set (Nikolai) with a big generic one (IMEX) !
Pegasus is able to do big excellent sets, they are almost an exception !
I like the IMEX set : it's very difficult to find Indians in daylife in our scale (except the old Atlantic ones ! they make me love the Indians when I was a young boy a long time ago ...)
Very nice, Sam.
RépondreSupprimerThanks Master Jay-di !

SupprimerUne fois de plus un tres bon boulot.
RépondreSupprimerMerci Sebatien !
SupprimerGreat painted figures again Pascal! Those Imex figures look like giants compared with the other ones!
RépondreSupprimerGreetings
Peter
Thanks Peter !
SupprimerIMEX are very tall, so it's difficult to use them with the others but we can say also that the Nikolai's ones are very small !
maybe they will be perfect with our beloved Atlantic ones ?
Lovely work Sam!
RépondreSupprimerThanks Francis !
SupprimerJoli travail, encore !!
A really beautiful set, Sam! Thanks for these nice photos!
RépondreSupprimerGreetings from Brazil!

RépondreSupprimerHi Sam,well done. I like E`M All. That Imex Native American is certainly telling the little fellow off about something. These two put together could always take a place in a good story along with the others that you`ve painted.A story of a peaceful way of life,to do with the Native American way of just living a Life.
