Toy "Pirate Ship III " ! another 2014's "old" work .

I try to finish to post all the unposted works of the last year ... almost done, except the last ones which are waiting for a setting and the camera !

This one is on the same way than two other ones, but this time, a little bit larger, which is quite a good thing! Just painted, no conversion .

Pirates Islands : a new Ship !!

I've done a little conversion of a plastic Toy-ship , that I've got with a big Ship (repainted yet, but I must "shot" him again to have decent pictures !)

This time, I've done a step-by-step....

not the original boat... that's after the texturing ...

I've done some texture at the plastic

not perfect, I know..

primed and washed ...

not perfect too..

I've added a mast and a rudder

all the wood is just washed (brown wash) and added a sail

Pirates Orion

Pirates Islands : a new Ship !! + some updates (Monkth Challenge - Plastic Figures)

I've painted the "Pirates Ship II" (waiting for a real name !) after the "Pirate Ship I" 
for my "Pirates Islands".
Again a Toy Ship, only repainted, I will use it as a merchant Ship (I've removed one mast and sails for having more place . Maybe I will paint the 3rd Ship, a much larger one in the next weeks + some pirates figures !
J'ai peint le "Pirates Ship II" pour mes "Pirates Islands" . Je pense l'utiliser  comme Navire Marchand, aussi j'ai enlevé le 3ème mât pour faire de la place sur le pont. Simplement repeint.
Je m'attaquerais au 3ème bâteau dans les semaines qui viennent ainsi qu'à quelques pirates pour peupler tout ça !

I've not posted since many time ... so much things to do ! the real life is sometimes hard !
I apologize also because of my "out-of-bloggingness". I try to see all your posts but have no time to post comments. I've seen beautiful works !

I've few time for the Hobby, and I've painted almost just those "English Pirates" from Orion ( PSR link) and not all the poses ! An excellent set in my opinion, maybe the better one in his category.
They are perfect for my Pirates-Island (but the Ship is too small for them !)

Je n'ai pas posté depuis beaucoup de temps ... tellement de choses à faire! la vraie vie est parfois difficile!
Je m'excuse aussi de mon "out-of-bloggingness". J'essaie de voir tous vos messages, mais pas le temps de poster des commentaires. J'ai vu beaux ouvrages!
 
J'ai peu de temps pour le Hobby, et j'ai peint presque seulement les "Anglais" Pirates de Orion  et pas toutes les poses! Un excellent set à mon avis, peut-être le meilleur dans sa catégorie.
Ils sont parfaits pour "Pirates Island" mais le Navire est trop petit pour eux, malheureusement!

....... I hope that I will be able to paint my "Monk of the Month" for my -yours?- "Monkth Challenge".
My rules are :

Pirates Island : Boat and Ship and more !

What's happening at Pirates Island ??
some guys are waiting something but what ??

 oh ! a Ship is coming !!

It's time to use the new small boat :

and I've another ship (bigger and better for 1/72 !) to paint :

-The Large Ship is a toy-ship and the little boat is converted from a boat found in a charity-shop.
-The Pirates are from "Germania Figuren"    which have an excellent range of Caribbean Pirates !
I've to add some oars to the pirates...but before find them !
I don't want to glue them because I think that this boat could have many uses... and I will try to add a removable mast and sail, a little bit like in the "Zvezda Medieval Boat".
-The pontoons are scratch-built and removable, so they can have several uses and places.
