"Cowboys" !

This is an "old" work (finished in March, I think) but I show it only today because it takes part at a competition on "Benno's Forum" .
At the end, I was in the final round for the "Golden Brush" but my duellist was better than me !
Congrats to Konrad for his "Red Devils of Sekigihara" !

For this little dio (.. almost the biggest I've ever made!), I've used :
-the set "Cowboys at the Trail" from "Germania Figuren"
-The "Chuck Wagon" from IMEX
-The Horse from IMEX "Eastern Friendly Indians"
-the "longhorns" from "Toma Miniatures"
-the tree is home-made.

The cattle, like all the animals are difficult to paint but it's always fun!

  5. Magnificent bit of work, Sam. I especially like you’re your “grub” wagon, with all its details. Where is the wagon from?

  10. This is a nice slice of history in the Old West. I like it a lot Sam.As an avid collector and eccentric FiddleWood Gnome,I have these wagons in my ever growing Toy Collection, but not painted they still sleep in their boxes. So it was so nice to see yours painted up so fine. Beano Boy
