WIP : Some Hobbits .... (MITHRIL)

Hi, just a quick post .... 
I didn't have time for painting those days but I would like to show you 
another part of my (so many!) projects:

Painting (almost) all the Hobbits released by MITHRIL !! 
(you know that I'm crazy!)

I've begun... in the pictures you can see less than a half of them, and even if my collection is complete,  I will not paint  them all  ....

Salut, juste un petit post ....
Je n'ai pas eu le temps de peindre ces jours-ci, mais je tiens à montrer une autre partie de mes (si nombreux!) projets :

Peindre (presque) tous les Hobbits de MITHRIL!   (vous savez que je suis fou!)
J'ai commencé ... dans les photos vous voyez moins de la moitié d'entre eux, et si ma collection est complète,  je ne les peindrai pas tous!

      it's difficult to collect all the MITHRIL Hobbits !!
      some are very rare and expensive!
      I've bought one for 40€ (50$) !

    They do some lovely stuff...the new Vignette, Bilbo presenting the arkenstone..I would love to have that in 1/72nd scale....

      The Arkenstone? yes, amazing ! I didn't bought it because of the price like I've not bought the "Unexpected Party "...

    This project is insane! But I do like the look of it. You build the whole Shire with this (clearly no exaggeration added)! Looking forward to seeing more. Keep at it Sam!

      it's possible to have Mithril figures for all the Shire and even for the village of Bree, "Bilbo' Last Speech" and the "Prancing Pony" too and even more !!!
      The problem is that I'm a specialist (and don't have enough time !) for doing dios ...

      Maybe in my old days ??
      it's not so far !

    How many Hobbits does it take to complete a collection?;...as many as it takes. Nice collection of wee people (hobbits). : )

      Jan : about 50/60 hobbits ...
      depends of the poses too because some of them are in different poses or with other figures (like Treebard with Merry and Pippin, white orcs with Merry and Pippin, etc..) or in vignettes so it could be more !
      I think that there are maybe 5/6 who are missing in my collection but they are quite easy to bought because they are always in production (but expensive so I'm waiting for the next discount !)

      Maybe it would be nice to do a listing of all !

    Thanks Dezz! there are not a lot of animals in the Hobbits range, except Bill and the dogs of Farmer Maggot ... and Gollum (for this one, I'm not sure that it's an animal...)

      oh no !!
      I didn't paint since about one week !
      too much to do, tired, etc...
      and we start tomorrow to England and Wales !
      I hope that I could finish some of them at the end of July...
      Wait and see
