"The Night Watch" ...... a dark story ! (and another base....)

...just some pictures, it's supposed to tell a story.
Not sure that's very clear ...

+ some pictures of the new base : (first finished work of the year !)

    1. You're too kind Mister ! I'm almost blushing !
The wall is not on the "top" but it's a good training for doing more ambitious projects and make some tests on walls...

I find all that work so "small" compared to many other ones ...

  4. The vignette is splendiferous!!

The obstinate sitting guard is being encouraged to join the rest of the midnight to 6:AM guard mount before the Captain of the guard catches him and accuses him of "dereliction of duty." The penalty for this offense is one week of slopping the hogs and mucking out the pigsty twice a day. Plus, the offender must sleep with the hogs!

"splendiferous" ? I've never heard or seen this word ! I like it and will re-use it for sure ...
You're severe with this poor guy ... with the hogs! damned !

(One thing that nobody knows: this poor guy is NOT on duty ! he's part of another set "Guards resting" in fact ! but don't tell it , it's a secret .... )

    - Sancho, tu as fini ?
    - ...
    - SANCHO ! Ça y est, c'est fini ?
    - ...

  8. I see you also used them for a little story, like I did! I found it a great set! You did a great paintjob on them!
The base reminds me of a diorama I made long time ago (do you remember the "Kingdom of Heaven" duel?). I used the same material! Your wall looks fantastic Pascal!
