"Caribbean Flamenco" (Pirate from Germania Figuren).... and UPDATES !

Hi! this is a single figure that I've painted with the other of the sets "Pirates of the Caribbean " (=>here).
I've used it for a little work for the 40th Competition on Benno's Forum .
I've won the Bronze Brush ! Very surprising for me because the level was high...
Thanks to all those who have voted for me and congrats to all the participants, especially for Konrad ( Golden Brush ) who beat me easily in the first turn !

Since, I've finished some and now I've a lot of posts to do .... for example:

2-Refer  to my post  "Tombstone",  I've done some searches about the story of the Earps, Doc Holliday and the clans Clanton et McLaury all represented in the 3 sets. 

If all those characters have really existed, the story of the gunfight of Ok Corral has inspired a lot of films like "My darling Clementine (John Ford 1946) , "Gunfight at OK Corral" (John Sturges 1957),

Cheyenne Autumn (John Ford 1964), ....., "Tombstone" (Georges Pan Cosmatos 1993) , Whyatt Earp (Laurance Kasdan 1994)...

"RUN SHADOWFAX ! RUN !!!" ..... in memoriam.

Maybe you know that the beautiful horse who played "Shadowfax" in the LoTR movies is dead in April 2014. His name was Blanco.
In memory, I've decided to paint the marvellous MITHRIL figure of "Gandalf The White on Shadowfax" (LT1) .
Not an easy work : almost all is white !! But a great satisfaction at the end, as I'm happy of the result !
I've done a lot of pictures with different backgrounds, all in daylight.

 Peut-être savez-vous que le magnifique cheval qui a interprété "Shadowfax" dans les films du Seigneur des Anneaux est mort en Avril 2014. Son  nom était Blanco. En mémoire, j'ai décidé de peindre la merveilleuse figurine MITHRIL de "Gandalf Le Blanc sur Shadowfax" (LT1). Pas un travail facile: presque tout est blanc! Mais une grande satisfaction à la fin, parce que je suis content du résultat! J'ai fait beaucoup de photos avec différents fonds, tout en lumière du jour.

It's a little  vignette that I've done last year which was my entry in the 38th Competition on Benno's Forum   .
I'm quite proud of my work (oups!)..........

"THE NATIVITY" (YKREOL)

I'm making a break in my Hobbit Month for this Christmas period because I though that it could be nice to paint a Nativity set.
It's was not easy to find one!
Therefore, I didn't really choose which one I wanted to paint, but the YKREOL was a not too bad compromise.
They are not very good figures: the sculpt is not the better I've ever seen and they are full of mold lines...
I've done a quick painting job.
The stable is as good as possible and I didn't glue the roof that I can remove.

En cette période de Noël, j'ai pensé qu'il pourrait être sympa de peindre un set de la Nativité.
Il n'a pas été facile d'en trouver un!
Je n'ai donc pas vraiment choisi celui que je voulais peindre, mais le YKREOL était un compromis pas trop mauvais.
Ce ne sont pas vraiment de bonnes figurines : la sculpture n'est pas la meilleure que j'aie jamais vue et elles sont pleines de lignes de moulage ...J'ai fait un travail de peinture assez rapide.
L'étable est aussi bonne que possible et je n'ai pas collé le toit que je peux enlever.

"At the Campfire" (VALDEMAR Medieval Camp) - Finished

After a Successful Post about Séverine and Sébastien's works (best score of comments since I've started my blog: I'm completely jealous! )  [ "A MITHRIL meeting....." ] My friends thank you all for your nice welcome and comments.
Well, with difficulties I've continued my humble work !
(next time, I will do a tavern, a mounted Warg, a Hobbit Hole, a Warg Skin, a Mumak, etc.......)
But it's too much time to do, so finally I've finished this little dio!
Like somebody said: I'm telling stories, I hope that's another one witch will "tickle" your imagination.........
(I must say that the pictures are not very good: maybe not enough light, but it gives an impression of "before the night" that's fit quite well with the subject, no?)

At the last post, I've forgotten to say that David Berta [ "Everything is Fair in love and Wargames" ]for me the little Poster which is on at the up right of my page : I like it a lot ! (it's one of my preferred passage both of the book and the movie!) :

W.I.P. I -"At The Campfire" (VALDEMAR VM038 "Medieval Camp")

wow!!!!!!!!! I've finished (almost!) something!

I had this set on my desk (begun!) since some weeks, but I was very busy and very tired the past 2/3 weeks and I didn't paint ! I've found some time and courage, and I'm happy because I've finished to paint :

1-the figures of this set

2-almost 4 figures from another set 

3-and begun to paint a MITHRIL one !

Now I've planed to do a small dio for the knights, and I've just work the composition:

I would like to have some advices and/or critics before that I add some elements for the ground and the scenery (I think at a sunny autumnal day)

wow!!! J'ai terminé (ou presque) quelque chose!
J'avais ce set sur mon bureau (commencé!) depuis quelques semaines, mais j'ai été très occupé et très fatigué les 2/3 dernières semaines et je n'ai pas peint!
J'ai trouvé un peu de temps et de courage, et je suis content parce que j'ai fini de peindre
1-les figurines de cet ensemble
2-presque 4 d'un autre set
3-et commencé à peindre une MITHRIL!

Maintenant, j'ai prévu de faire un petit dio pour les chevaliers, et j'ai juste travaillé la composition:
Je voudrais avoir quelques conseils et / ou critiques avant que j'ajoute quelques éléments pour le sol et le paysage (je pense à une belle journée ensoleillée d'automne)
